  • Tour the 1853 mansion and learn about the Harding-Jackson family, the enslaved people who worked on the farm, and daily life with 19th century technology. Create a tin-punched candle holder and explore the science of reflecting light as well as early lighting sources. Demonstrate logic, map reading skills, and teamwork while exploring the grounds and outbuildings during the
    scavenger hunt.

Wheelchair Access

  • The grounds are wheelchair accessible.
  • The first floor of the mansion tour is also wheelchair accessible with ramp access into the house.
  • No wheelchairs available onsite for rent

Hours of Operation

Open Daily 9:00 am-5:00 pm

Tours start every 30-45 minutes with the last tour at 4:00 pm.
