This program combines the frontier cabin tour and the mansion tour to examine Belle Meade’s development into one of the most famous Thoroughbred horse farms in the United States. Students gain knowledge of 19th century history by exploring Frontier Expansion, the Antebellum Era, the Civil War, and Reconstruction. Following the tour, students demonstrate logic, map reading skills, and teamwork while exploring the grounds and outbuildings during the scavenger hunt.
Student – $10 (3rd Grade and up)
Parent/Chaperone – $15
The grounds are wheelchair accessible.
The first floor of the mansion tour is also wheelchair accessible with ramp access into the house.

Tours start every 30-45 minutes with the last tour at 4pm.
