Summer Camp 2016
All Camp sessions run Monday through Friday 9:00am-1:00pm.
Civil War Soldier Camp
Costumed Interpreters bring to life the experiences of Civil War soldiers in camp and on the battlefield. Campers will participate in military drills, weapons demonstrations, games, activities, and experience elements of a soldier’s life. Campers study and reenact battle tactics to help them understand Civil War battles and their outcomes. On the last day of camp friends and family are invited to attend the drill and dress parade and each camper will fire a reproduction rifled musket.
