Happy Memorial Day! Here are the facts…Memorial Day was first called Decoration Day and was meant to be a day of remembrance for all of the soldiers that died serving their country! Although celebrations of such a day can trace back as far as 1867, following the Civil War, Memorial Day and its origins have been claimed my numerous cities and leaders over the years .
Chronicles of Summer…since summer is about to begin and we are all lovers of history. What are each of you planning to do this summer that relates to history? Are you a reader and plan to read some cool new book or book series (maybe we can all read the same book/books and have our very own Team Falsetto book club party night). do you plan to visit or tour some cool sites this summer? What are they and why are you planning to visit? Lets chronicle our Team’s summer adventures!

Summer Chronicles: Trip 2…I travelled to Ashville, North Carolina this weekend to celebrate Memorial Day at the Biltmore Estate, which is my very favorite place on Earth! I learned that most of the cross-country running scenes in the movie Forrest Gump, were filmed on the grounds of Biltmore! Stay tuned for my next Road Trip Adventure this summer! I can’t wait to hear about yours too!
